IMPORTANT: Song Dermatology's COVID-19 Office Policy

Our office's COVID-19 policies are continuously evolving based on the CDC guidelines, Texas State Board of Medical Examiners, the American Academy of Dermatology, the Governor of Texas, and City of Carrollton. We appreciate your patience during these challenging times.

Our office is taking these measures in order to keep our patients and staff members safe. 

​

1. Face mask is mandatory. In the event that you do not have one with you, one will be provided. We will ask you to remove your face mask during the duration of any pertinent exam or procedure only.

2. We will take your temperature upon your check-in. If you have a temperature over 99.9 Fahrenheit, we will re-schedule your visit. You will be asked to contact your primary care provider for further guidance. Likewise, if you know you have a fever or any symptoms concerning for COVID-19 such as shortness of breath, cough, or malaise prior to your visit, please contact the office PRIOR in order to cancel and reschedule your appointment. We will be happy to accommodate your needs.

3. No guests please. Please try your best to come alone for your visit. For patients under the age of 18 or any patients requiring assistance, only one guardian will be permitted. If you bring any extra guests with you, we kindly ask they wait outside the office during the duration of the medical visit. 

4. We are attempting to minimize the exchange of paperwork between the front staff and our patients. This means we may ask you to fill medical forms prior to your medical visit. 

5. Please rest assured that our staff members are trying our best to thoroughly sanitize the patient rooms and reception area in between every patient.
